A Twist to the Louisville Urban Tour
The Intersection of History & the Future
A Unique taste of history!
In this tour, we take you on a fantastic trip where you learn how bourbon and spirits are made, and also learn a little bit of spirits history. As all tours, this one has a twist. In addition to bourbon distilleries, we visit a local Brandy distillery. Not what you'd expect in the Bourbon City, but definitely worth your time and engaging your palette.
During out time together, we travel through neighborhoods in Louisville and visit interesting distilleries. We start the day at the historical Stizel-Weller Distillery, one that has been around since Derby Day 1935. We then take a trip across town to visit a distillery making history with the newest speakeasy and barrel tasting bonded warehouse in Louisville, Uncle Boojies Distillery. We will have a delightful lunch across the street at The Cafe.
Up next, a unique distillery, Copper and Kings, which proudly boasts producing Brandy. After the tasting, time permitting, a quick visit to a nearby market or craft brewery.
Our final stop of the day, we take a step back in history at Prohibition Craft Spirits, where Carrie Nation and her hatchet still haunts today's spirits and bourbon!
This exciting adventure is for those enthusiasts wanting to taste and try something new, with a historical twist. And, is ideal for the winter months with most experiences indoors.
*Please note* Distillery tours/tastings are subject to availability. Our itinerary may be altered to accommodate their schedule. In some instances, we may visit the distillery bar in lieu of a tour or guided tasting. Other distilleries or bourbon bars may be included.
